Keith Muscutt is assistant dean of the arts at the University of California, Santa Cruz. A native of England, he has traveled widely in the United States, Mexico, and Peru, photographing and writing articles about rock art and pre-Columbian remains. He is the founder of the Fundaci�n Ben�fica Ni�os de Chuquibamba, which promotes the health and education of children in the remote Andean village shown on the cover of this book.
